Player Wellbeing

Responsible Gambling

Gambling is entertainment. 2jbit provides the tools, information and support to help every player stay in control — from Karachi to Peshawar and everywhere in between.

Adults 18+ only — or the higher minimum required by the operator's licensing jurisdiction

Gambling Should Be Entertainment, Not Obligation

At 2jbit, responsible gambling is not a compliance footnote — it is a design principle. Every feature on the platform, from how limits are presented in account settings to how support is routed, has been built with player wellbeing in mind.

Pakistan has one of the world's most passionate cricket audiences. The excitement of a PSL T20 chase, a tense ICC final or a live football match is genuine — and we want that excitement to stay positive. That means gambling within a budget you can afford to lose, stopping when a session stops being fun, and using the tools this page describes before a problem develops rather than after.

The guidance on this page covers the full range of responsible gambling tools available at 2jbit, the warning signs that gambling may have become harmful, a brief self-assessment, and — crucially — how to get support. Please read it carefully.

Legal context for Pakistani users: Pakistan's Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977 restricts certain gambling activities. Nothing on this page constitutes legal advice. Users are solely responsible for understanding applicable laws in their jurisdiction. 2jbit does not claim to be regulated, licensed or endorsed by the Government of Pakistan, the PTA, the State Bank of Pakistan or any Pakistani authority.

Strictly Adults Only

The 2jbit platform is strictly for adults aged 18 years or older — or the higher minimum required by the operator's licensing jurisdiction. We verify age during KYC. If you know or suspect a minor is accessing a gambling account, contact us immediately at [email protected] so that access can be restricted without delay.

Gambling involves financial risk. Play only with money you can afford to lose. Local laws may restrict gambling in your jurisdiction.

Your Responsible Gambling Toolkit

Every tool described below is accessible from your account settings. No special request is needed — activate any limit in two taps.

Deposit Limits

Set a daily, weekly or monthly cap on how much you can deposit, displayed in PKR. A limit reduction takes effect immediately. A limit increase requires a cooling-off period before it activates — giving you time to reconsider.

Loss Limits

Define the maximum net loss (in PKR) you are comfortable with over a set period. When the threshold is reached, further wagering is automatically suspended for that period — regardless of your available balance.

Session Time Limits

Receive an on-screen alert or automatic logout when you reach your defined play duration. Whether it's 30 minutes during a PSL afternoon fixture or a one-hour evening session, the platform enforces the time you set.

Cooling-Off Period

Take a short break of 24 hours, 48 hours or up to 30 days. During a cooling-off period you cannot deposit or wager. No promotional communications will be sent. The account remains accessible for withdrawal only.

Self-Exclusion

Voluntarily exclude yourself for 6 months, 1 year, 5 years or permanently. Self-exclusion is irrevocable for its full duration. All deposits are blocked. No marketing is sent. Contact support to activate instantly via live chat or email.

Reality Checks & Activity Statements

Enable periodic on-screen reminders that display how long you have been playing and your net balance change for the session. Full monthly activity statements — deposits, withdrawals, net win/loss — are available in account history.

How to Activate Your Limits

All responsible gambling tools are self-service and accessible without contacting support — though support is always available if you prefer assistance.

1
Log In to Your 2jbit Account

Access your account from the homepage. Use the account menu (top-right on desktop or the hamburger menu on mobile) to navigate to Account Settings.

2
Select "Responsible Gambling" in Settings

Within Account Settings, locate the Responsible Gambling or Player Protection section. All tools — limits, cooling-off, self-exclusion and reality checks — are grouped here.

3
Choose Your Tool and Set Your Preference

Enter your chosen limit value in PKR or your preferred session duration. Confirm the selection. Limit reductions take effect immediately. Increases require a mandatory waiting period.

4
Confirmation and Ongoing Visibility

You will receive an on-screen confirmation and an email to your registered address. Active limits are always visible in your Account Settings so you can review them at any time.

Prefer help from a person? Contact our 24/7 live chat or email [email protected] and a member of the team will activate any limit or self-exclusion on your behalf — immediately, with no waiting period.
Deposit Limit Detail

Available as daily (24-hour rolling), weekly (7-day rolling) or monthly limit. Set in PKR. If you reach your limit mid-session, further deposits are blocked until the period resets. A reduction is instant; an increase requires 24 hours to activate.

Reduction: instant Increase: 24-hour cooling-off
Self-Exclusion Detail

Self-exclusion is the most comprehensive protective tool available. Once activated, 2jbit will block all deposits, remove the account from promotional audiences and suspend login access for the duration chosen. Reactivation before the end of the exclusion period is not available. Permanent exclusion requires written confirmation to support.

Activates immediately Cannot be reversed early
Loss Limit Detail

Measured as net loss — money wagered minus money won — over the chosen period. The limit applies to Real-Money Balance only; Bonus Funds wagering is counted separately. When the limit is reached, the platform suspends further real-money wagering automatically until the period resets.

Warning Signs of Problem Gambling

Gambling becomes a problem when it stops being fun and starts affecting your finances, relationships, work or mental health. Recognising the signs early makes a significant difference.

Important: If any of the following apply to you, please use the self-exclusion tool or contact support immediately. These signs indicate that gambling has moved beyond entertainment.
  • Spending more time or money on gambling than you planned or can afford.
  • Gambling with money set aside for essential expenses — rent, food, school fees, utility bills.
  • Chasing losses — placing larger or more frequent bets to recover previous losses.
  • Lying to family members in Karachi, Lahore or elsewhere about how much you are gambling or how much you have lost.
  • Feeling anxious, irritable or restless when you are not gambling, or when you try to stop.
  • Using gambling as a way to escape from stress, depression or difficult personal circumstances.
  • Borrowing money from friends, family or lending services to fund gambling activity.
  • Neglecting work, studies or personal relationships because of time spent gambling.
  • Continuing to gamble after deciding to stop, or being unable to set a limit and stick to it.
  • Feeling that gambling is the only thing that brings relief or excitement in daily life.
Recognising one or more of these signs does not mean you have failed — it means you have caught something early. The tools on this page are here for exactly this situation. Use them without hesitation.

Quick Self-Assessment

Reflect honestly on the following questions. There are no right or wrong answers, and no data is collected. This is a private exercise for your own awareness.

1

In the past month, have you spent more on gambling than you originally intended when you sat down to play?

2

Have you gambled with money that was needed for household expenses — such as groceries, rent, mobile recharge, or children's school fees?

3

After a losing session, have you returned to gamble again in an attempt to win back what you lost?

4

Have you found it difficult to walk away during a session, even when you initially set a time or money limit for yourself?

5

Has gambling led to arguments, tension or concern from family members or friends — even if you tried to keep your activity private?

6

Have you borrowed money, used credit facilities or sold personal items to fund gambling activity?

7

Do you sometimes feel that gambling is no longer enjoyable but you continue anyway out of habit, anxiety or the hope of recovering losses?

If you answered "yes" to two or more questions — we strongly encourage you to activate a deposit limit or self-exclusion through your account settings right now, and to consider reaching out to a support organisation. There is no shame in asking for help; it is the responsible thing to do.

Protecting Others Around You

Gambling-related harm rarely affects just the individual. Family members, partners and close friends in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad and across Pakistan can also experience stress, financial strain and anxiety when someone they love is experiencing problem gambling.

If you are concerned about a family member's gambling — or if someone has asked you to help them stop — there are several steps you can take:

  • Encourage them to activate a self-exclusion through their 2jbit account settings — this takes effect immediately.
  • Contact 2jbit support on their behalf to request account closure or self-exclusion, with their permission and account verification details.
  • Use parental control software on shared devices and family computers to restrict access to gambling sites.
  • Seek support for yourself through peer networks for families of those affected by problem gambling, which are available internationally.
  • Have an honest, non-judgemental conversation about the financial and emotional impact you have observed.

Keeping Minors Safe

2jbit operates a zero-tolerance policy toward underage gambling. Our age-verification process requires identity documentation before any withdrawal is permitted, and we conduct risk-based checks at registration.

Parents and guardians can take the following practical steps to prevent minors from accessing gambling platforms:

  • Never share your 2jbit login credentials with family members, including older teenagers.
  • Log out of the platform on shared devices and mobile phones after each session.
  • Use device-level screen time controls and content-filtering options available in Android and iOS settings to restrict access to gambling-related content.
  • Keep payment method apps such as mobile wallets password-protected and separate from family devices where minors have access.
  • Contact 2jbit immediately at [email protected] if you have reason to believe a minor has accessed or registered an account.
Any account found to belong to a person under the applicable minimum age will be closed immediately, all funds returned where legally required, and the matter referred where appropriate under applicable law.

2jbit's Responsible Gambling Commitments

Six operational commitments that define how 2jbit approaches player protection across the platform.

No Marketing to Vulnerable Users

Users who have activated a cooling-off period, self-exclusion or a deposit limit are removed from all promotional communications for the duration of that measure.

Proactive Monitoring

2jbit's internal systems monitor for behavioural indicators of problem gambling — such as significant increases in deposit frequency or bet size — and may trigger a proactive wellbeing check from the support team.

Clear, Honest Communication

Responsible gambling tools and warnings are written in plain English throughout the platform — not buried in small print. Urdu language assistance is available through live chat on request for users who prefer it.

Irreversible Self-Exclusion

Once self-exclusion is activated, it cannot be reversed early — by the user or by 2jbit staff. This design decision is intentional: it ensures that a moment of resolve is protected against a later moment of temptation.

PKR Limit Display

All deposit and loss limits are set and displayed in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) where the account is PKR-configured — so your limits are always clear in the currency you think in daily, without mental currency conversion.

Staff Training

Support staff at 2jbit are trained to recognise indicators of gambling-related distress in player interactions and to handle responsible gambling requests with sensitivity, privacy and without judgment.

Always Worth Remembering

Gambling is entertainment — treat it the same way you would a night at a cricket ground in Lahore or a cinema trip in Islamabad. Set a budget. Enjoy it. Leave when it is done.
Only gamble with money you can genuinely afford to lose — meaning it would not affect your rent, bills, groceries or family commitments if it were gone entirely.
Never gamble to escape emotional distress, financial pressure or personal problems. Gambling in this context consistently makes those situations worse, not better.
Never chase losses. Accepting a loss and stopping for the day is always the right decision. Chasing losses is the single most common route from recreational play to harmful gambling.
Winning streaks end. No game, no betting system and no hot run lasts indefinitely. Past outcomes do not predict future results in any game of chance.
It is completely normal to take a break. A cooling-off period or a week away from the platform is a healthy part of balanced entertainment habits, not a drastic step.
